The cardiothoracic surgeon will conduct daily hospital rounds on cardiothoracic surgery patients while managing both outpatient and inpatient consultations throughout the assignment period. Primary responsibilities include providing operating room coverage for cardiac surgery cases and responding to thoracic trauma emergencies requiring immediate surgical intervention. The clinician will maintain 24-hour call availability with continuous on-site presence, ensuring comprehensive coverage for all cardiothoracic surgical needs including emergency cases and scheduled procedures.
