What Youll Bring:
Proven clinical skills in critical care or cardiology, with the ability to manage high-acuity pediatric patients effectively
Strong procedural competency in bedside procedures such as chest tube removal, cardiac line management, and pacing wire handling
Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the capacity to work seamlessly with physicians, nurses, and families
Ability to adapt to evolving clinical settings, including intermediate care and advanced mechanical circulatory support management
Current BC Critical Care certification required
Nice to Have:
Experience with pediatric ECMO, ventricular assist devices, or transplant management
Familiarity with electrophysiology, including pacemaker management
Prior work in a high-acuity pediatric or cardiac ICU setting
Preferred Education & Experience:
Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
At least 2 years of Pediatric Critical Care, Cardiology, or related experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
Active licensure and certification in relevant fields
Willingness to travel or participate in ongoing training and certification updates as needed
