Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused individual to support our cardiac diagnostic services. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Cardiac Technician or Medical Assistant and a strong interest in cardiovascular care.
In this role, you will perform and support a variety of cardiac testing procedures, helping to ensure accurate results and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform cardiac diagnostic testing, including:
EKGs and rhythm strips
Signal-averaged ECGs
Stress testing
Holter monitor hook-ups
Prepare testing data for physician interpretation in a timely and accurate manner
Edit EKG reports in the MUSE system following physician review (including updates, corrections, and standardized phrasing
Utilize systems such as MUSE, TDS, and others for data entry, reporting, billing, and patient communication
Maintain equipment through daily cleaning, stocking, and troubleshooting
Monitor supply levels and report equipment or maintenance needs
Ensure the department meets all safety and regulatory standards (JCAHO, OSHA
