Our newly renovated Cardiology Department features brand-new, state-of-the-art equipment, providing the perfect environment for high-quality imaging and excellent patient care. Our schedule is:

Friday and Saturday day shift. Friday 8am-4:30pm, Saturday flexible either 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm. 16 hours per week.

Position Function: Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians and synthesizes information related to the patients' medical problems.

Qualifications Minimum Education: Requires Associate Degree in Science/Cardiac Sonography or certificate in cardiac sonography

Licensure/Certifications: Active ARDMS RDCS registration required BLS/CPR Certification required

Minimum Experience: 2-3 years' experience required

Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology either through college level courses in biology and anatomy and/or relevant acquired experience

Other Skills Required: Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access

Ability to rely on experience, judgment and time management skills to plan and accomplish goals

Ability to work cooperatively with members of the healthcare delivery team and staff, ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; to set priorities and solve problems; to respond quickly to emergency requests

Pay Range: $46.00 - $61.91

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
