Are you a skilled radiological technologist with a passion for interventional cardiology and radiology? Cayuga Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab Technician to deliver exceptional care in our busy Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology departments. What Youll Need:
- Valid radiologic technologist license or degree
- Proven experience in cath lab procedures, particularly in interventional cardiology
- Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques applicable to cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
- Certifications such as ARRT or RCIS are preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience in interventional radiology procedures
- Additional certifications in radiology or cardiology subspecialties
- Familiarity with the latest imaging and diagnostic equipment used in cardiac and IR procedures
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Radiologic technologist degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working in a cath lab setting, with a focus on interventional procedures
- Prior experience in interventional radiology is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work five 8-hour shifts per week, with on-call responsibilities
- Ability to travel for work-related needs and maintain current licensure and certifications as required
