A Cardiac EP Technologist (Electrophysiology Tech) opportunity is available in Fort Walton Beach, FL at a 267-bed hospital offering an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Cancer Care Center, open-heart surgery, and a full emergency services network that includes a main ER, a pediatric ER, and two freestanding ERs.
The role. Working under general supervision, the EP Technologist prepares patients and equipment and directly assists physicians in performing electrophysiology procedures. The position requires competency across a broad adult and geriatric patient population. The technologist is responsible for maintaining high procedural quality standards and contributing to safe, efficient lab operations throughout each case.
What we're looking for.
• 1 year of recent acute care EP Tech experience required (new graduates will also be considered)
• Associate Degree
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) with a Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Schedule. Days schedule with rotating weekends.
Compensation. $29.56 - $40.65/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
