Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Cardiac Diagnostic Nurse (RN) to join our cardiology team. In this role, the RN will perform and assist with cardiac stress testing, including exercise treadmill tests (ETTs) and pharmacologic stress testing, in support of nuclear cardiology examinations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac assessment skills, advanced ECG interpretation abilities, and the clinical expertise to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program required
Current RN licensure in MA, will require NH license within 6 months of hire
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
Advanced ECG interpretation skills required
Cardiac Stress Testing Certification preferred, if applicable
Experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cardiac, telemetry, or critical care nursing preferred
Prior experience with exercise treadmill testing (ETT), nuclear stress testing, or non-invasive cardiology strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
Proficiency in ECG rhythm interpretation and recognition of ischemic changes
Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-acuity or emergency situations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality care

Outpatient or hospital-based cardiology environment
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Ability to respond quickly during emergencies and assist patients during exercise testing

We are currently seeking a part-time, 32-hour Cardiac Diagnostic Registered Nurse to join our team on site at our 1 Parkway location in Haverhill, MA. This position is scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. By fall 2026, we anticipate including coverage to include our Salem, NH location as part of this role's schedule.
Our Cardiac Diagnostic RNs play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care throughout cardiac diagnostic testing and procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional clinical outcomes.
