Assists physician and staff with the daily coordination of patient care to facilitate efficient patient flow and physician access. Functions as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians. Serves as primary support for physicians in clinic.
Performs Pacemaker and Device Interrogations and adjust device settings under direct supervision of cardiology in clinic. Responsible for Pacemaker-Device Holter Event Monitor 12-lead ECG set-up monitoring and reporting. Maintains precise templates and database of all information for monitors and devices.
Additional duties include appointments scheduling, scheduling of diagnostic testing, and medical record management.

A Cardiac Device Specialist should possess in-depth knowledge in the following areas:
• High School Diploma or GED • Basic Life Support BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross • Previous Implantable Cardiac Device Ambulatory Monitoring MCOT • Holter and event monitoring • 3 years of Cardiac Device Specialist experience
