What to Expect The Manager, Capital Markets executes automotive structured finance transactions, evaluates funding strategies and market conditions, and manages deal execution through closing. This role oversees securitization reporting and compliance, maintains relationships with banking partners and investors, and provides day-to-day leadership of direct report(s).
What You Will Do Structured Finance Transaction Execution
- Lead execution of ABS transactions, including structuring, modeling, pricing, documentation, and closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage transaction execution, timelines, deliverables, and issue resolution.
- Analyze collateral performance, cash flows, and deal structures to support effective securitization issuance.
Market Analysis & Funding Strategy
- Monitor market conditions, investor demand, and portfolio performance trends to support issuance timing and funding decisions.
- Evaluate funding strategies, cost of funds, and structural alternatives to optimize financing capacity and execution.
- Support investor relations activities through performance analysis, materials preparation, and meeting participation.
Reporting, Compliance & Program Administration
- Oversee securitization reporting, compliance, and program administration activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to transaction requirements.
- Coordinate reporting, due diligence, audits, and stakeholder information requests while identifying and resolving issues.
- Drive process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, data integrity, and program effectiveness.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members by providing direction, performance feedback, and support to ensure effective collaboration, professional growth, and achievement of organizational and personal goals.
QualificationsWhat You Will Bring • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in capital markets, structured finance, securitization, or investment banking.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
• Direct experience with ABS transactions or conduit facility management (auto asset class preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
• MBA or CFA preferred.
• Understanding of securitization structures, cash flow mechanics, and credit enhancement features.
• Ability to analyze and forecast collateral performance and evaluate funding structures.
• Knowledge of interest rates, credit spreads, drivers of investor demand, and market dynamics impacting funding execution.
