Your Role --------

The Sr. Consultant (Technical Solutions Architect) in Digital Manufacturing will play a key role in designing and implementing next-generation manufacturing solutions for our clients. This position requires a blend of technical acumen, hands-on experience with operational technology, and the ability to bridge the gap between shop floor equipment and enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate brings a platform-native and AI-centric mindset to drive innovation in digital manufacturing environments.

 

You will:

  • Design and architect technical solutions for manufacturing clients, leveraging IIoT, MES, AI Platforms, and modern IT/OT/automation technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver platform-based, scalable solutions that integrate shop floor and enterprise systems.
  • Engage with clients to understand underlying needs, create requirements, craft technical architecture and integrated solutions, present solution architectures, and provide technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, solutioning, and technical presentations.
  • Lead with knowledge and know-how in emerging technologies with AI, analytics, micro-services, edge computing, IIoT, operational twins, and manufacturing automation.

 

Qualifications & Experience -------------------------

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Operational Technology (OT), IIoT, Data platforms, Manufacturing Execution Systems, or related fields.
  • Experience with technologies from vendors such as Siemens, Rockwell, PTC, Microsoft Fabric, or Tulip.
  • Background as a systems architect, application engineer, in a client-facing services role within manufacturing or technical consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with micro-services architecture and edge devices.
  • Ability to leverage and integrate AI/GenAI solutions into overall architecture.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role bridging shop floor equipment and data platforms.

Compensation ------------

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 105,600 - 199,480. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
