Job Summary:

The Canopy Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships to support the sale of canopy systems, lighting solutions, and related branding elements. This role focuses on identifying business opportunities, preparing proposals, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting customers throughout the sales process. The position requires strong knowledge of canopy products, effective communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a sales pipeline while meeting established business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target potential clients, including new and existing fuel stations, convenience store chains, and independent operators.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities.
    • Present and demonstrate our canopy products, features, benefits, and customization options to prospective clients.
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
    • Actively pursue leads from various sources (e.g., industry events, referrals, online inquiries).
    • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and support.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, engineering, project management) to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge and Industry Expertise:

oDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of our full range of canopy products, including materials, design options, lighting solutions, and branding capabilities.

    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in fuel station infrastructure.
    • Understand the benefits of effective canopy design for brand visibility, customer safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Administrative and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activities in the CRM system.
    • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
    • Attend sales meetings and participate in training programs as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the fuel retail, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of convenience store operations and infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close sales.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
