Job Title:Campus Testing Facilitator - High SchoolReports To:Building PrincipalClassification:ProfessionalWage/Hour Status:ExemptDays:188Salary:See Compensation Plan for Administrative/Professional Pay Plan, Pay Grade 103Contract:Probationary/TermDate Revised:11/15/2023Primary Purpose:Responsible for all aspects of campus testing programs including the planning, training, communication, organization, materials management, security, and administration of state and local testing, norm-referenced, and advanced placement testing.Qualifications/Skills:

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or Teaching Certificate from out of state appropriate for position.
  • Certification must meet requirements for becoming and remaining qualified for this position in a manner required by Federal and/or State law.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Shall be knowledgeable of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills and the state high school assessment programs.
  • Excellent written, communication, and verbal skills as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of technology (data bases, online testing tools, software applications, etc.).
  • Resourceful, creative and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Self-directed, assertive and confident with a successful track record of handling campus leadership roles and programs.
  • Exemplary planning and multi-tasking abilities.

Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of teaching experience required, campus leadership team experience preferred.
  • Campus administrative experience a plus.
  • Prior campus test coordinator experience in a high school setting a plus.

Major Duties and

Responsibilities:

Program Management:

  • Work cooperatively with the campus leadership, developing plans and logistics for all aspects of campus assessment programs.
  • Review instructional programs and calendars and makes recommendations to meet building needs.
  • Stay current in testing procedures by attending all district trainings.
  • Design and deliver training to campus staff in accordance with testing program requirements.
  • Capable of managing online testing programs.
  • Responsible for receipt, proper use, and return of all testing materials, secure and otherwise.
  • On test days, oversee the secure administration of assessments and respond promptly to needs and issues if/when they arise.
  • Maintain complete and accurate test records as required by each program.
  • Oversee the receipt, distribution, and proper filing and storage of student test results and campus reports.
  • Seek and utilize evaluative feedback from the appropriate administrative staff, both campus and district.

Staff Support:

  • Coordinate teacher and staff training to provide educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct successful test administrations.
  • Serve as a resource person for students and parents on matters related to tests and testing programs as needed.
  • Assist campus test leadership in disaggregating, analyzing, and disseminating test data for instructional decision-making purposes.
  • Demonstrate understanding of results and instructional implications.
  • Provide appropriate time, resources and materials to support students and staff in all testing programs.
  • Assist in the design and logistics of remediation programs.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional, ethical and responsible manner.

Personnel Management:

  • Work with teachers, administrators and other campus staff to administer a range of testing programs.
  • Carry out campus responsibilities in alignment with state, district and program guidelines and expectations.
  • Use technology as a productivity tool.
  • Assist principals as a resource in campus functions related to testing.

Budget:

  • Determine the fiscal needs of programs and ensure those fiscal resources appropriately address these needs and conform to the District Policy and goals.
  • Compile budgets and cost estimates based on documented program needs.

Other:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory

Responsibilities:Responsible for supervision of all testing programs.Equipment Used:Computers, active board and printers.Working Conditions:

  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Work with frequent interruptions
  • This position requires regular in-person interaction with the public.

Physical Demands:

  • Occasional prolonged hours.
  • Occasional travel within the district.
