Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Campus Operations Supervisor for a respected mission-driven organization dedicated to fostering safe, welcoming, and community-centered environments that support individuals, families, and staff. This is an onsite position located in Oakland, California.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Campus Operations Supervisor serves as a key leader responsible for overseeing daily campus operations, safety initiatives, facilities coordination, and front-facing operational functions. This role helps create a secure, inclusive, and welcoming environment while supporting staff, visitors, community members, and organizational partners. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments and can confidently manage both day-to-day operations and unexpected situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee daily campus operations, reception services, scheduling, and resource coordination to ensure efficient site functionality
Lead campus safety and emergency preparedness efforts, including incident response and operational readiness planning
Supervise, coach, and support operational staff while promoting a collaborative and inclusive team culture
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to support facilities and operational needs
Foster positive relationships with visitors, community partners, and stakeholders to maintain a welcoming environment
Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance safety practices, and strengthen overall campus operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience supporting operations, facilities, safety, security, customer service, emergency response, or related environments
Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, or leading team members
Ability to remain calm, exercise sound judgment, and effectively respond in fast-paced or evolving situations
Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $95,000-$105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits package available.
