The Campus Operations & Admin Lead plays a key role in supporting the mission of The Crossing Midtown by ensuring the campus operates with excellence, clarity, and consistency. Working closely with the Campus Pastor, this role helps turn vision into reality by overseeing logistics, coordinating events, and managing administrative systems that support both weekend experiences and ongoing ministry.

This role is both operational and relational, serving as a central point of coordination for volunteers, staff, and Central Services teams. From preparing the campus for weekends to managing events and communication, the Campus Operations & Admin Lead helps create environments where people feel welcomed, connected, and able to engage fully in the life of the church. As part of The Crossing’s ministry, this role contributes to creating spaces where people can encounter Jesus and grow in their faith through consistent, thoughtful execution and support of ministry environments. It requires a servant-hearted leader who demonstrates spiritual maturity, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence in both behind-the-scenes and people-facing work.

What You'll Be Doing


Collaborate with the Campus Pastor to implement campus vision and strategies
  • Approve and manage all events occurring on campus
  • Liaise with Facilities to ensure proper use, cleanliness, and maintenance of the building
  • Manage weekly church-wide checklists and building readiness

  • Process and track First Time Guest follow up
  • Maintain team calendars, room bookings (e.g., eSpace), and facility use coordination
  • Process and track receipts, purchases, and budget items in collaboration with Central Finance
  • Process and track all ministry requests to Central Services teams
  • Assist Campus Pastor with administrative tasks including email, calendaring, purchasing and other tasks as needed
  • Format and send weekly Midtown Update email
  • Distribute “This Sunday at Midtown” information
  • Organize and maintain digital records using systems like Google Drive and Rock RMS
  • Handle general office duties including copying, filing, mailing, and answering phone/email inquiries
  • Maintain and restock key areas like the Green Room, break rooms, and office supplies

  • Lead volunteer teams including Reach Cafe, Facilities, and Events
  • Support ongoing scheduling and communication with volunteers
  • Ensure volunteers are equipped with necessary tools and resources
  • Schedule Hosts, Huddle Leads, and Lay Pastors for Sundays

  • Work with the campus team to plan and execute events that serve the church and surrounding community
  • Manage monthly Midtown Start Party
  • Coordinate vendors, supplies, and communication with necessary teams
  • Recruit and schedule volunteers for event support
  • Serve as campus liaison for Central Services: HR, Communications, Finance, Production
  • Help implement church-wide processes and initiatives on campus (e.g., Start Party, Rooted logistics)
  • Ensure supplies, items and elements are transported to the campus



What You'll Bring To The Team


  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma
  • Minimum Experience: Three years experience in administration or operations
  • Demonstrates strong technology experience (Gmail, Google Docs, Word, Excel, Rock, etc.)
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Preferred Experience: Five years experience in administration or operations in an equivalent church setting or non-profit organization
  • Spanish/English bilingual preferred
  • Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
