The AmeriCorps member will serve as a hands-on contributor to ANC's food access and student engagement efforts. In the Food Lodge, the member will assist with extending operating hours, serve and prepare food for the free lunch program, and host cooking demonstrations to reduce stigma around food assistance. The member will develop outreach materials to increase student awareness of available resources and support maintenance of the campus garden. They will research and map food and basic needs resources on campus and in the surrounding community to strengthen ANC's food access programs. The member will collect and track data from the free lunch service and engagement activities to measure their impact on student retention. They will also plan recurring cultural, wellness, and belonging-focused activities, and support campus and community events including food drives and the Halloween Masquerade. Throughout their service, the member will assist with outreach on behalf of ANC.
