Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 6:00 pm, hours will vary
Expected Starting Hourly Range: $23.67 - $24.67
Supervision and Responsibilities:
Supervises general camp operations, daily activities, and programs to ensure a safe, fun, quality Manatee County seasonal day camp. Responsible for the safety and supervision of program participants, ages 5 and up, and staff. Acts as a program representative interacting directly with parents/guardians, the public and staff at the facility and on field trips. Assists with programming areas such as the swimming pool, lunchroom, gymnasium, playground, arts and crafts room, and game room. Manages field trip arrangements including transportation, scheduling and logistics.
Work Schedule:
Mid-May through August, 40 hours per week. Camp hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Work hours will vary within that time frame.
Working Conditions:
Indoor/Outdoor situations, high noise environment while performing certain responsibilities. Requires physical stamina and outdoor work. Work requires extended periods of time standing and frequent: bending/stooping, climbing, crawling, fine manipulations, grasping, kneeling, pulling, pushing, reaching, and repetitive lifting/carrying of objects up to 50 lbs. alone and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
