A Peach Cobbler Factory cashier provides, friendly customer service in a fast-paced dessert environment, handling POS transactions, offering menu recommendations, and managing to-go orders. Key duties include greeting guests, serving samples, maintaining store cleanliness, and operating with a positive attitude, often requiring evening or weekend availability. This position will also assist with marketing the Peach Cobbler Factory in Bradenton on all social media platforms as well as connecting with corporate marketing staff for guidance and post development.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greeting customers warmly, explaining the menu, providing samples, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Order Processing: Accurately taking, ringing up, and packaging customer orders, including phone and catering orders.
- Cash Handling: Managing payments (cash/card) via the POS system, processing transactions, and providing accurate change.
- Social media: Must be fluent with TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
- Marketing: Must have experience in marketing or be majoring in marketing, communications and or social media.
- Store Maintenance: Keeping the front-of-house area, counters, and lobby clean and sanitary.
- Support: Assisting with stocking, packaging, and, at times, light food prep or assembly of desserts.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous cashier or restaurant experience is preferred but not always required. Experience with social media, editing of social media is required.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
- Availability: Flexibility to work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attitude: Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic.
