Experience: 6 months to 2 years of proven technical, mechanical, or electrical hands-on experience.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Formal education, degrees, or trade certifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Instrumentation engineering/technology are highly acceptable and preferred.
Technical Skills: * Strong computer literacy; experienced in data entry and proficient with Word, Excel, and calibration database/management software (CCM).
Familiarity with, and proficiency in, using basic hand tools and specialized testing equipment.
Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and comfortably work in high or confined spaces.
Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; exceptional interpersonal skills for client-facing troubleshooting.
Travel: Valid driver’s license and a reliable, clean driving record are required for daily travel to client sites across Southern California
Equipment Calibration & Maintenance: * Perform routine to complex calibrations on a wide range of instrumentation including Freezers, Refrigerators, Incubators, Pipettes, Balances, Centrifuges, Thermometers, and Pressure/Vacuum instruments.
Execute calibrations, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on conductivity, flow, level, pH, humidity, RTD, thermocouple, and temperature devices.
Calibrate and service advanced systems including Autoclaves, HPLC systems, SIP/CIP systems, and specialized QC/QA laboratory equipment.
Documentation & Data Entry: * Accurately perform high-volume technical data entry within calibration management software systems (CCM/Databases).
Generate, organize, and review precise calibration reports, safety certificates, due lists, and vendor documentation.
Client Relations & Field Support: * Act as the onsite face of the company, providing professional technical support and world-class customer service.
Interface directly with customers regarding schedule coordination, calibration progress, routine maintenance, and non-routine service projects.
Coordinate, schedule, and self-manage field work assignments efficiently to cover clients across Southern California.
