We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic cake decorator to join our pastry team at our Lakewood location. This position requires dedication to the craft of baking, strong attention to detail, a high level of persistence, and enthusiasm for working as part of a team. You will be decorating cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and cake balls for our retail and wholesale customers.

Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of cakes & cookies.
Fully decorate cakes & cookies in line with the Leila aesthetic.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety standards.
Ensure all products meet quality standards for taste, appearance, and consistency.
Operate and maintain baking equipment safely.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain efficient bakery operations.
Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a bakery or culinary environment.
Cake/cookie decorating experience.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and culinary skills generally.
Ability to follow a recipe accurately.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality baked goods.
Flexibility and a positive attitude.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Part-time, specific days can be discussed but should anticipate weekends. Happy to accommodate consecutive days off.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience, starting at $17.00/hour.
