As a Cage Cashier, you're right in the center of the action-turning lucky tickets into winnings, exchanging currency, and keeping every transaction smooth, secure, and full of great energy. You bring accuracy, efficiency, and a friendly smile to every guest interaction, helping make their visit as rewarding as their wins. You'll also support the Main Banker and your fellow team members, keeping everything in balance and every guest experience shining.
What you bring to the table
- Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
- Provide exceptional guest service while performing all cashier functions, including paying slot tickets and sports betting vouchers, redeeming checks, exchanging currency, and balancing your cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Assist other cashiers and the Main Banker as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Support casino employees with transactions and maintain a friendly, team-oriented approach.
- Deliver outstanding service that reflects the resort's commitment to warmth, integrity, and fun.
- Maintain accurate and timely records and reports in accordance with company standards.
- Follow all internal controls, company policies, and compliance requirements, including Title 31 reporting.
- Protect company assets and confidential information through careful attention to security procedures.
- Promote a positive, energetic environment where guests and team members alike feel valued and appreciated.
- Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

- Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum one year cash handling experience; ability to keep paperwork "in balance."
- Willingness and ability to learn to perform in any cashier location: customer window, employee service window, and main bank.
- Ability to operate 10-key adding machine/calculator with high degree of accuracy.
- Customer service experience.
- A strong team orientation.
- Ability to learn and demonstrate to conduct cashier functions in accordance with prescribed standards
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
- Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.
Physical stuff to know
