Summary

We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Cafeteria Associate to support daily food service operations and catered events. In this role, you will help prepare and serve food and beverages, assist customers, and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.

Location: Lancaster General Hospital, 555 Duke St, Lancaster, PA 17602

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and store food and beverage items according to established guidelines
  • Accurately portion and present food in an appealing manner
  • Maintain well-stocked and organized self-serve stations
  • Assist with catered events, including tracking items distributed and returned
  • Operate the cash register as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cafeteria and dining areas, including equipment
  • Contribute to a positive and welcoming experience for all customers

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in the food service industry
  • At least 1 year of experience operating a cash register
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule

  • Variable shifts between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM
  • Includes every other weekend
  • Includes every other holiday
