Job Title: Cafeteria Worker 24.5 Hours/Week Slaybaugh Primary

Reports To: Director of Food Services

Job Purpose: To assist with maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe cafeteria for students and workers.

Qualifications-Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Displays a positive, courteous attitude towards all students

Exhibits a helpful, positive, and friendly attitude towards all associates

Is clean, well groomed, and wears the proper attire at all times as per district uniform policy

Ability to speak and understand English

Excellent attendance and work ethic

Able to pass the Criminal History Review

Ability to pass the Sexual Misconduct Child Abuse Disclosure

Ability to Pass Pre-Employment Physical Exam

Qualifications-Desired:

2-3 years of experience as a cafeteria worker

2-3 years of experience working in a school setting

Duties/Responsibilities:

Performs all kitchen duties, but not limited to serving the students at a steady pace

Performs light food preparation, ware washing

Performs dish washing duties

Cleans and sanitizes dining room tables

Maintains all health and safety standards in accordance with the Atlantic County Health Department

Starting Salary $16.95/hr
