This position assists with developing hourly associates, determining, implementing, and executing best practices, meeting objectives and goals, driving improvement, directing associates, ensuring a safe work environment for associates and reporting on operations to departmental leadership.

• Night differential: A $.75 per hour night differential is paid to associates regularly scheduled to work any hours between midnight and 3:00 a.m. (this does not include shifts that end at midnight or begin at 3:00AM).
• Weekend premium pay: $2 per hour weekend premium pay is available.

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.

In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.

In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.33.60

• Associates degree in Culinary, Hospitality, Nutritional, or Business Management or comparable work experience in a restaurant or cafeteria dining setting or equivalent experience
• three years of cooking experience in an environment where a variety of products and methods are used
• one year of leadership experience
• ServSafe or equivalent Food Safety Manager certification
• knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to food in addition to food safety and storage requirements
• must have a willingness to work a variable work schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours
• ability to be on call 24 hours/7 days a week

• knowledge of best industry practices and regulatory guidelines
