Pinwheel Provisions is hiring a Cafe & Market Team Leader to support daily operations, guest experience, staff development, and community events inside the Bryn Mawr Film Institute.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a welcoming, mission-driven business focused on healthy food, local producers, and meaningful community connections. You'll work directly with ownership while helping lead a small team in an environment known for exceptional customer service and a positive workplace culture.

Unlike many hospitality leadership positions, this opportunity can be structured as either a full-time role or a 25-30 hour per week position for the right candidate.

About the Role

The Cafe & Market Team Leader helps oversee daily operations while serving as a visible leader for both guests and staff.

This role combines hospitality leadership, customer service, team development, inventory support, and operational execution. You'll spend your time interacting with guests, supporting team members, maintaining standards, and helping create the welcoming atmosphere that has become a hallmark of Pinwheel Provisions.

Responsibilities

  • Help oversee daily cafe and market operations
  • Lead shifts and support daily execution
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Train, coach, and support team members
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
  • Support food quality and consistency

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant, cafe, coffee shop, market, hospitality, or food service experience

  • Experience with inventory, ordering, and receiving preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
