Seeking a CAD Technician in Wichita, Kansas to support civil/site projects within a federal services team.
This role involves tasks such as initial CAD setup, site layouts, utility and rough grading, detailing, record drawings, and team coordination. The technician will also receive training to perform BUILDER SMS inventories and assessments for defense clients.
Requirements include 0-3 years of site development drafting experience, an associate’s or technical degree, proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, strong communication skills, and readiness to learn BUILDER SMS. Willingness to travel overnight is needed.
Preferred skills include field experience with BUILDER SMS, plan/profile development, storm and sanitary sewer networks, surface modeling, and GIS knowledge.
