We will utilize your hands-on experience in Custom simulation and/or power EM/IR analysis to define, develop and refine the methodologies and flows.DescriptionIn this highly visible role, your primary responsibilities will include - Supporting transistor level simulation solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges - Supporting and enhancing the custom transistor level simulation flows and/or EM/IR flows - Collaborating with various design groups (Physical-design and integration, Circuit-design / Power / Technology) to address their circuit verification requirements across different processes - Partnering with design, CAD and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver state of art solutionsMinimum QualificationsExperience with custom design environment and transistor level circuit simulationProficiency in at least one of programming languages: Python, Perl, C/C++Minimum requirement of BS + 10 years of relevant industry experiencePreferred QualificationsHands on experience developing transistor level simulation flows and automations for improved accuracy and higher performanceKnowledge in EM/IR analysis tools, including their working principles and methodsFamiliar with custom design environment and flows, including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verificationStrong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to root-cause technical challenges and communicate solutions for methodology advancementAbility to coordinate and drive initiatives with minimum supervisionPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
