We're experiencing rapid expansion across both our New Jersey and Texas locations, and we're excited to grow our powerhouse team as we continue setting new benchmarks for performance, safety, and success in commercial construction.About the RoleThis role is a full-time, salaried position that directly reports to the Engineering Manager. The position will be in-office, with day-to-day work occurring in our NJ office location.About YouYou think like a designer. You don't wait for perfect conditions you move forward with clarity and purpose, turning concepts into buildable realities.Essential FunctionsCreate 2D and 3D technical drawings using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorksInterpret design specifications and convert rough sketches into detailed plansCollaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and feasibilityRevise drawings based on feedback and updated project requirementsMaintain organized digital libraries of drawings and templatesPrepare supporting documents such as material lists, cost estimates, and schedulesEnsure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulationsWork with outsourced modelers to expedite engineering design creationCore RequirementsEducation: Associate degree or certification in drafting, engineering, or architectureExperience: 3 plus years in CAD draftingSoftware Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar CAD toolsSolidWorks will be the primary software utilized and applicants should be highly proficient in its useExperience using 3D Experience and OpenBOM is a plusSkillsAttention to detail and technical communicationStrong visual and spatial awarenessAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)Willingness to stay updated with evolving CAD technologiesDetailsThe starting compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 and will be determined based upon a candidate's experience and location.The typical working hours for this position are 8 am – 4:30 pm (ET)This job position is exempt to overtime as determined by the FLSA standards.BenefitsAt RPH, we believe in taking care of our team on and off the job.
