Job Summary (List Format) for CAD Designer (Construction Industry):

- Prepare detailed construction document sets in AutoCAD, including space plans, material specifications, and elevation details for permitting, bidding, and construction of homes and Welcome Home Centers.
- Provide elevations and built-in details for Model Homes.
- Assist with conceptual design, material selections, furniture specifications, and graphics as needed.
- Coordinate projects with consultants, engineers, and field associates.
- Attend Model Home frame walks and installations when required.
- Stay updated on current building codes, ADA requirements, and design trends; attend industry trade shows as necessary.
- Utilize strong proficiency in AutoCAD (AutoMac preferred), Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate 3-5 years of residential drafting experience (required); bachelor's degree preferred.
- Willingness to learn new AutoCAD add-ons and software.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to accept constructive feedback.
- Be willing to travel regionally, including overnight trips and flights, as required.
- Remote work position; must be located in Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
