Seeking an experienced CAD Designer for Mechanical/CAD design of power electronic DC-DC converters. The candidate will work closely with the lead engineer taking the design from concept through prototype development including CAD Design (Solid Works) design, documentation, Assembly of Prototypes, Mechanical testing and assist in lab during testing of prototype.
Responsibilities:
• Mechanical CAD Design in Solid works for Power Electronics Converter to meet electrical and mechanical requirements specially dimension requirements, Shock and Vibration requirements and IP67 requirements
• Work Closely with PCB Designer and Suppliers ( Transformer, Inductor, Cold Plate, Enclosure and Busbars) to develop prototype.
• Assembly Drawing Creations.
• Build and Assemble Prototypes.
• Mechanical Testing: Shock and Vibration, IP67 testing, Thermal testing.
