A Day in the Life
From start‑up to shift handoff, you will:
- Operate and continuously monitor Armor, Cabler, and Packaging machines.
- Manage up to five machines at once in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Prepare, inspect, and maintain equipment for safe, reliable operation.
- Use hand tools such as calipers, wrenches, sockets, pliers, knives, and tape measures.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow OSHA and Prysmian safety standards and report concerns immediately.
- Support production targets and assist teammates and supervisors as needed.
What You Bring
- Manufacturing experience preferred, not required—we train.
- Ability to perform very physically demanding tasks.
- Comfort using standard hand tools.
- Must not be color blind.
- Capacity to multitask and run multiple machines simultaneously.
- High reliability and eagerness to learn.
- Preferred: farming or farm‑hand background for familiarity with labor‑intensive work.
- Preferred: open to 3rd shift and overnight schedules.
Work Environment
- Loud, industrial manufacturing floor with continuous machine operation.
- Exposure to heat and occasional outdoor tasks.
- Frequent bending, twisting, standing, kneeling, and repetitive motion.
- Regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
Schedule Options
- 12‑hour or 8‑hour shifts
- Overtime available
- Weekend availability required
- 3rd‑shift/overnight candidates strongly preferred
