Arrow Staffing is hiring for our client in Grand Rapids! We re seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Carpenter to join a high-end commercial casework manufacturer that specializes in custom architectural millwork and cabinetry. If you re a detail-oriented craftsman with a passion for precision and quality, we want to hear from you!
Position: Cabinet Maker / Bench Carpenter
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $22 $28/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday (overtime as needed)
Job Responsibilities:
Fabricate custom cabinets, reception desks, and architectural millwork with precision.
Operate and maintain woodworking tools, machinery, and equipment.
Work with solid wood, veneers, laminates, metal trim, glass, and resin panels.
Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members and follow supervisor direction.
Assist in other departments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Proven experience in custom woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork.
Proficiency in using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Knowledge of working with various materials including wood, laminates, and hardware.
Ability to read shop drawings and measure accurately.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
Strong sense of responsibility and work ethic.
Valid driver s license (preferred).
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Equipment maintenance experience.
Familiarity with finishing techniques.
Experience working with solid surface materials.
