Title: Building Engineer - Journeyman
Pay Rate: 36-38/HR
Hours: M-F 8am - 4:30pm with availability for OT
Location: 627 Hazel St, Glendale, CA
Team Overview:
Working as part of a team
Resource's typical working day:
lighting change outs
Lighting retrofits
Running conduit for data and small plugs/outlets
Generator and UPS backups
Licenses/Certifications:
CA Journeyman's card for electrical
EPA 608 License
Must Have Skills:
Strong electrical background
Light plumbing skills
Patching/painting skills
HVAC skills
Changing motors
Nice to have skills:
Being able to change out motors 40 Client and up
Diagnose HVAC controls and lighting controls Client
Soft Skills:
Will need to be able to interact with the client - good customer service skills
Good organizational skills
Time management skills
Years of Experience:
6+ years
Education
H.S. diploma or GED, trade school is a plus
Software skills:
Computer skills
Email skills
2 interviews, either virtual or in-person

As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
