C4I technician

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a C 4I Technician with   for the   USV Operations and Sustainment  program   supporting   Astrion   Navy Division. Experience operating , troubleshoot ing , and repai ring network and computing equipment .

Overview:

C4I Technician 
LOCATION: San Diego CA
JOB STATUS: Full-Time 
TRAVEL: Some travel required
CLEARANCE: Active Secret Clearance

SALARY RANGE: Estimated $70,000 - $90,000 USD annually*

*depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications

 

 Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a C4I Technician with for the USV Operations and Sustainment program supporting Astrion Navy Division. 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS 

• SECURITY CLEARANCE: Current active Secret Clearance

• CITIZENSHIP:  Current U.S. Citizenship Required. 

• CERTIFICATIONS: N/A 

• EDUCATION / BACKROUND: 

• 5+ years’ experience as an IT Technician or related position 

• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and repairing network and computing equipment 

• Experience operating and administering Linux based systems via shell 

• Experience developing technical user documentation  

• Able to work on small and large vessels in a dynamic environment 

• Able to travel internationally and spend time testing at sea.  

  

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS 

• Current Secret security clearance 

• Experience operating and troubleshooting SATCOM equipment  

• Experience working onboard navy vessels  

• Experience with unmanned systems 

  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Work in a dynamic team of IT professionals to operate and maintain computing, networking, software systems.  

• Perform software updates and verify compliance with Cyber Security requirements 

• Operate alongside and provide technical support to US Navy personnel 

• Support at-sea testing of unmanned systems for the US Navy.
