Are you passionate about the manufacturing industry? Do you have an eye for detail and a knack for negotiation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Buyer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, maintaining stock and supplier records, and implementing cost reduction strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of Incoterms, lead times, inventory impact, and the basic understanding of MRO and CAPEX procurement cycles.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage effective relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
2. Negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, and supply agreements.
3. Evaluate and manage risks associated with supply contracts and agreements.
4. Analyze market and industry conditions and develop procurement strategies.
5. Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain up-to-date supplier and stock records.
6. Implement cost reduction strategies to optimize resources and reduce operational costs.
7. Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
8. Ensure all procurement activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
9. Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Purchasing Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient understanding of Incoterms, lead times, and inventory impact.
4. Basic understanding of MRO and CAPEX procurement cycles.
5. Proven experience in demand planning and managing vendors.
6. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
8. Proficiency in using procurement software and related technology.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
