Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days onsite (Tuesday & Wednesday)
Training Requirement: Full-time onsite during the first few weeks of onboarding

We are seeking an experienced Buyer II / Commodity Buyer to support indirect procurement activities with a strong emphasis on IT-related purchasing. This role is ideal for a procurement professional with proven experience sourcing indirect goods such as software, IT services, office equipment, and related categories. Semiconductor industry experience is a plus but not required—IT procurement experience is the top priority.
In addition to day-to-day purchasing activities, this role will support a key project initiative to build and maintain a centralized contract and vendor database.
Process purchase orders for indirect procurement categories (e.g., IT products, software, office furniture, services)
Analyze and communicate procurement data including vendor quotes, contracts, and reports
Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate supplier bids related to pricing, delivery, quality, and contractual terms
Partner closely with the IT Vendor Management Office and internal stakeholders
Manage open purchase orders to ensure optimal supplier performance and on-time delivery
Assist with cost-reduction initiatives and sourcing optimization efforts
Support the creation and ongoing maintenance of a centralized contract database capturing vendor details and agreements
Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of directly related professional experience
Minimum of 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience (8+ years preferred)
Proven experience as a Commodity Buyer purchasing indirect goods and services
Strong experience purchasing IT-related products and services (higher priority than semiconductor experience)
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
Solid understanding of standard purchasing practices, contracts, and supplier negotiations
Experience in electronics or manufacturing environments; semiconductor industry experience is a plus
Familiarity with manufacturing documentation such as BOMs and technical specifications
SAP Ariba experience (nice to have)
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
