This role is an excellent fit for a purchasing professional with experience in electronics manufacturing, responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing electronic components and PCBs, and driving material planning through MRP/ERP systems. Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned commodities and supplier relationships.
- Plan and procure materials using MRP/ERP systems.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Support NPI launches and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Resolve supplier, quality, and material discrepancies.
- Drive inventory optimization and alternate sourcing strategies.
- Monitor purchasing metrics and maintain accurate reporting.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- 8+ years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing or EMS.
- Experience sourcing electronic components and PCBs/bare boards.
- Strong background with MRP/ERP systems (Syteline preferred).
- Skilled in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and inventory management.
- Bachelor's degree required; APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
