We are seeking a busser with significant serving experience to join our team. The busser presents a positive first impression of our establishment’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards. Busser responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, cleaning tables, setting tables, refilling beverages, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties, cleaning and side work duties.
To be a successful busser, you should be polite with our customers and make sure they enjoy their meals. You should have a strong knowledge of restaurant service, etiquette, be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with guests and other staff. It is the duty of our busser to assist in providing an excellent overall dining experience for our guests.
• Clean, bus, and set tables according to restaurant standards
• Refill beverages
• Box up leftover food
• Perform cleaning, setup, and side work duties
• Tend to all Guest needs and requests and provide excellent customer service
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to health department, sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
• Contribute to team effort by doing what is needed
• 1+ year of restaurant, retail or hospitality experience
• Passion for providing extraordinary service
• Must have strong food and wine knowledge and be able to learn our menu accurately
• Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive and have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to assist Guests and possess great Guest relations skills
• Must be able to work Holidays
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time
• Ability to work effectively within a team
