The primary responsibility of the Business\n \nto Business (B2B) Champion is building, growing, and maintaining positive\n \nrelationships with existing and new business customers to increase sales.\n \nThe person in this role is the trusted hardware consultant\n \nand advisor for local business customers to ensure they have the supplies they\n \nneed to keep their business running. This is a fast-paced active environment\n \nwhich will require focus, flexibility, and time management skills.\n \nIn addition to being the main point of contact for business\n \ncustomers, this person is tasked with building B2B into the culture of the\n \nstore. This entails building excitement and awareness with the staff, ensuring\n \neveryone is trained and understands their role in B2B and keeping B2B top of\n \nmind day to day by sharing success stories and celebrating wins.\n \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n \nCreate and manage a process of capturing leads inside the\n \nstore and converting them to business accounts.\n \nGenerate new leads and build relationships, connecting over\n \nthe phone or through personal visits and in-store workshops and events.\n \nReach out to customers over the phone and visit and follow\n \nup as needed.\n \nResearch current and potential customers to understand their\n \nbusiness and educate them on the value of working with Ace Hardware Titusville.\n \nConduct sales calls (over the phone and/or in person) with\n \ncurrent customers, prospect with new customers and follow up on opportunities\n \nin a timely manner.\n \nMaintains sales & gross margin and is responsible to\n \nmaintain discounts and review in accordance with the store business discount\n \npolicy.\n \nValidate inventory levels to meet expectations set with\n \nbusiness customers.\n \nManage the sourcing of products for special orders via\n \nvendors, internet research, etc. Determine if the demand warrants adding to the\n \nstore inventory mix.\n \nEnsure orders are received, maintained in the designated\n \narea and customers are notified for pickup/delivery.\n \nEducate store staff and help them understand their role in\n \nB2B. Work with the store manager to train, motivate, and coach store staff.\n \nUse huddles, communication boards, and store meetings as the\n \nmeans to communicate the store's performance, and educate, engage, and motivate\n \nthe team.\n \nProvide direct support to B2B Sales Representative (outside\n \nsales).\n \nCompany Introduction\n \nWe are your local hardware store and we are a part of your community.
