In this role, you will drive initiatives that enhance business and team capabilities, streamline processes, and deliver high‑value solutions. Success requires curiosity, initiative, critical thinking, strong collaboration, and ownership of outcomes end‑to‑end.

Our Team

The Back Office IT team supports Accounting, Finance, HR, and Credit capabilities across KAES. This role reports to the Back Office IT Leader and partners closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluate solution options and recommendations, including risks, trade‑offs, and enterprise impacts.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams to ensure successful delivery and alignment across upstream and downstream systems.
  • Manage solution delivery end‑to‑end, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Maintain and contribute to the Back Office backlog and roadmap, aligning priorities with organizational strategy.
  • Participate in and co‑facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct system testing and quality assurance to validate that solutions meet business needs.
  • Lead solution demonstrations and provide training and support to end users.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to apply AI, automation, and modern tooling to optimize, automate, or eliminate work.
  • Provide escalated production support for Back Office applications and transition knowledge to Reliability Support teams.
  • Support change control processes and maintain documentation for products, processes, integrations, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Ensure solutions comply with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • 3+ years of professional business experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or in a comparable role that required gathering requirements, process & workflow mapping, and partnering with technical teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across end users, subject‑matter experts, technical teams, and leaders.
  • Experience owning solution delivery across the software development lifecycle, including design, testing, and implementation.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Working knowledge of Finance and Accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, financial reporting).
  • Experience supporting ERP or financial systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Inspyrus).
  • Curiosity about AI and experience exploring automation or low‑code tools to improve work.
  • Willingness to respectfully challenge the status quo using data, curiosity, and persistence.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions yourself - (e.g. Power Platform - Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Python, low-code/no code tooling, SQL scripting) - with ability to prototype and deliver, not just specify.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services (e.g., DynamoDB, S3, serverless frameworks).
  • Experience working in Agile or Design Thinking environments using tools such as Azure DevOps, Mural, or Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to lead through influence by facilitating discussions and aligning stakeholders.
