Responsibilities:
- Seeking a Technical Business Analyst (BA) to support a modern, REST API–driven platform.
- This role sits at the intersection of business, engineering, and quality, with a strong emphasis on writing clear, technically precise user stories for API based capabilities.
- Comfortable working with API specifications, understands how backend services interact, and can translate business requirements into developer ready stories with acceptance criteria that support build, testing, and integration.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for a REST API–based platform
- Write technical user stories that clearly define API behavior, inputs, outputs, and edge cases
- Ensure user stories include clear acceptance criteria that support API development and testing
- Break down complex workflows into consumable stories aligned with sprint planning
- Work with architects and developers to understand API contracts, schemas, and data models
- Translate API requirements into user stories that reference: Endpoints and methods, Request/response structures and error handling and validation rules
- Review API specifications (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger) to ensure alignment with business intent
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience with writing technical requirements and user stories
- Strong experience and understanding API-focused requirements
- Tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Office Suite
- Preferred: OpenAI/Swagger
