    Description

    For roles that are 100% remote or hybrid, you must have access to a reliable high-speed internet connection to support daily job responsibilities. A minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required. Those fully remote associates residing in states where service is required by contract, law, or regulation will be allowed to submit for reimbursement.


    Role Overview


    The Business Systems Analyst Lead – Population Health provides ongoing support for the Jiva clinical management system and Population Health Portal including all their related processes and jobs (e.g. data mapping, configuration, queries).


    Work Arrangement


    + This is a HYBRID, office based position working in our Ellis Preserve office located in Newtown Square, PA. WE WILL NOT CONSIDER REMOTE CANDIDATES!


    Responsibilities


    + Serves as a SME for supported applications, understanding how the information is used and how the system(s) may need to be adapted to changes in business processes

    + Participates in estimation efforts to formulate and define the scope of IT team deliverables

    + May lead teams that provide production support for internally developed and vendor developed applications

    + Participates in the change management process, playing a lead role as needed

    + Provides proactive consulting support to an area of the business, leading the planning effort for how technology will support the business’ strategic objective

    + Conducts complete diagnosis of most business problems, factoring in a strong understanding of the business processes and anticipating implementation obstacles

    + Provides mentorship, guidance, and technical knowledge to more junior team members

    + Leads efforts to define functional requirements and design innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems

    + Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors

    + Conducts complete diagnosis of most business problems, factoring in a strong understanding of the business processes and anticipating implementation obstacles

    + Capable of helping user clarify, develop, and plan for their current and future technology needs

    + May lead team members in providing production or systems support

    + Provides time/resource estimates for assigned projects


    Education and Experience


    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of relevant work experience.

    + At least eight (8)+ years of relevant experience required

    + Experience with the following applications encouraged: Jiva, Population Health Portal, NaviNet, Care Coordination Portal, Client letter

    + Experience in healthcare administration or a healthcare environment a must

    + Serves as subject matter expert within IT on the work processes for assigned area(s) of the business including how systems are used, how information flows, how decisions are made, the future roadmap(s), and how the systems may need to be adapted to changes in the business, etc.

    + Possesses advanced expertise in requirements elicitation via interviewing and workshop facilitation and requirements determination using structured techniques for documentation and analysis

    + Can define/manage scope and business expectations, requirements change management and traceability

    + Possesses expert understanding of the applications environments and the project life cycle, processes, and methodologies

    + Possesses working knowledge of the strategic plans/initiatives of various business units, and/or can quickly come up to speed on the strategies and critical success factors for a business unit

    + Understands the business impact of different solutions, and can assess and communicate the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, costs, and risk


    Technical Skills


    + OS Familiarity with Windows, Linux

    + Programming background a plus, .Net, SQL, etc

    + Database knowledge a plus, SQL Server etc

    + MS Office, Azure, JIRA, Power Bi, Tableau Desktop.
