Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst III to support business process analysis, vendor coordination, testing, and data-driven problem-solving for Multifamily Loan Servicing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing complex processes, writing requirements, developing test cases, and collaborating across functional teams. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent SQL skills and the ability to synthesize complexity into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex Multifamily business processes, system interactions, and data flows.
  • Ask clarifying questions to uncover nuances and ensure accurate understanding.
  • Document process, system, and data dependencies across functional areas.
  • Decompose ambiguous or complex challenges into clear, actionable components.
  • Produce detailed business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Create workflow diagrams using Visio or equivalent tools.
  • Write and run SQL queries for data validation, relationship analysis, and issue investigation.
  • Develop and execute detailed test cases and acceptance criteria based on requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors to discuss requirements, validate deliverables, and support rollout activities.
  • Investigate production issues using SQL, logs, and scenario reconstruction.
  • Participate in release validation and post-deployment checks.

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of product or business analysis experience in complex operational or technical domains.
  • Proven experience writing high-quality functional specifications, user stories, and test cases.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and issue investigation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional engagement.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams (coding not required).
  • Must adhere to confidentiality requirements; background check required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Multifamily Loan Servicing.
  • Experience working with technology vendors or TSPs on moderately complex implementations.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Apptio TargetProcess, Jira SaaS, and Visio.
  • Comfortable using generative AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT for documentation and analysis.

Pay Range: $60-65/hr.
