We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Planning Analyst to join our team in Rancho Bernardo, CA.
Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Planning, this position is responsible for analyzing and optimizing a range of business and technical processes. Strategic planning and financial forecasting are essential outputs of this position, all with the goal of aiding and guiding key technological development and deliverables to our customers. Determines system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Performs activities which involve the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Performs organization-wide financial forecasting processes.
+ Represents business unit with project management, users, and customers.
+ Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, and other business-critical applications.
+ Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals.
+ Analyze existing workflows and business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement through automation and system optimization.
+ Develops hard copy and electronic reports. Utilizes analysis models, prototypes and scenarios.
+ Assists with various analyses in support of GA-EMS strategic planning activities including but not limited to book of business, resource and financial planning, budgeting and performance measurements.
+ Perform analysis and reporting to key senior leaders within GA-EMS.
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.Analyzes, validates and develops business and technical process requirements.

Job Qualifications:
+ Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a related field and three or more years experience as a business process or financial analyst working with computerized management systems to include, but not limited to, financial forecasting and data architecture. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
+ US Citizenship is required.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
+ Must demonstrate detailed expertise in data analytics, report creation, articulation of analysis and budget setting and performance measurements.
+ Strong leadership, communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills are also required as well as the ability to interpret and explain complex operational issues.
+ Ability to articulate, influence and infer is a must.
+ Must be able to thrive in an ambiguous, changeable and complex environment with the ability to reprioritize constantly and improvise as needed to support the customers’ needs that include senior leadership and program management.
+ Customer focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment.
+ Must also be able to work extended hours and travel as required.
