6-9 month contract to hire
Pay Range $40.00-45.00/hr.

The Business Systems Analyst will join the Consumer Systems Support team, which is responsible for supporting account opening systems, transaction processing applications, loan origination systems, and various consumer-facing applications. This position is being created to provide dedicated support for our clients Empower mortgage software, while also assisting with validation testing, reporting, and escalated issue resolution across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Mortgage System Support
    • Serve as the primary support analyst for the Empower mortgage software, handling escalated and complex tickets.
    • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and partner with technical and business teams to resolve problems.
  • Testing & Validation
    • Perform validation and software testing across consumer systems (including Smarto and other related platforms).
    • Participate in test planning, execution, and documentation of results.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Develop and maintain KPIs and reporting cadence for ticket management and issue resolution.
    • Tie issues to related bugs and track progress through JIRA, ServiceNow, and Quest.
    • Provide data-driven insights to leadership to improve system performance and user experience.
  • Collaboration & Documentation
    • Partner closely with analysts, developers, and business partners to align technical solutions with business needs.
    • Document workflows, resolutions, and processes for team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related experience
  • Or Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience
  • Experience: 3+ years in systems support, business systems analysis, or data analysis, preferably in financial services.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in banking systems and/or computer science.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex issues, identify patterns, and implement solutions.
  • Tools: Hands-on experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, Quest, and reporting/analytics platforms.
  • Testing: Solid background in validation and software testing methodologies.
  • Required: Empower, Black Knight mortgage systems
  • Nice-to-Have: Argo banking software (trainable if candidate is strong in Empower/Black Knight)
  • Additional Advantage: Prior branch experience or direct banking operations background.
  • KPI reporting- (power BI)
