Job Summary for Systems Business Analyst (List Format):

- Act as a liaison between business groups and IT/systems departments to ensure technology solutions support business operations.
- Define and document business needs and functional requirements.
- Identify technology alternatives and recommend system solutions to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Participate in all phases of the systems development life cycle, focusing on strategic initiatives.
- Develop clear methodology documents using interviewing, workflow analysis, dataflow diagramming, and screen design skills.
- Review and assist in developing project plans, workflows, and resource assignments.
- Facilitate requirements gathering by working with programmer analysts and users in prototyping and design sessions.
- Translate and present project concepts visually for clarity to both business and technical audiences.
- Manage projects or distinct efforts using waterfall or iterative development methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to departmental standards, guidelines, and methodologies.
- Maintain issue logs and coordinate communications regarding systems and user acceptance.
- Mediate and resolve miscommunications between business and technical team members.
- Conduct user training sessions.
- Perform data analysis, validate report requirements, and confirm test results using SQL or BI tools (e.g., Qlik Sense).
- Participate in developing test strategy, plans, cases, and executing/documenting test results.
- Translate system workflows into system configuration.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to clarify requests and coordinate acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to describe requirements, answer questions, and perform integration/QA testing.
- Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Utilize standard desktop tools and advanced features in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience & Skills Required:
- 5-7 years' experience in financial services, preferably Private Banking/Investment Management.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience as a business analyst.
- Proven business analysis skills: business requirements gathering, product proposals, workflow documentation.
- Strong analytical skills for workflow and process improvement.
- Ability to effectively use office and reporting/BI software.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
