Title Business Systems Analyst (Data Analytics)

Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be responsible for working closely with partners from Analytics, Operations, the Data Management team, and the IT team. Your primary goal is to understand and document strategic drivers and tactical needs to ensure the delivery of technology-enabled solutions that add value with the necessary stability, usability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, including story-boarding, user story writing, and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Digitize artifacts from story-boarding and provide critical input during technical design sessions.
  • Communicate clearly to keep IT and the customer apprised of project status, potential issues, and key metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, IT project managers, Architects, Developers, and Software Quality Assurance.
  • Guide teams through the business analysis lifecycle on solution design and development, identifying and managing dependencies and risks.
  • Analyze and document both current and future state business process models.
  • Elicit and document user stories, business requirements, business rules, and use cases.
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by planning the testing phase, creating UAT scripts, and facilitating the execution.
  • Support deployment and end-user rollout activities as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience performing comprehensive business analysis activities across the full business analysis life cycle.
  • Demonstrated success in handling and delivering initiatives of high complexity and risk.
  • Self-starter mentality with a demonstrated passion for driving your own self-development and motivation.
  • Strong time management with the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate agility and flexibility.
  • Technical foundation featuring strong knowledge of data warehouse modeling and business intelligence concepts.
  • Advanced software experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (ETL, Data Integration, Master Data, Qlikview, and SAS).
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
This position requires the frequent and repetitive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Hand and finger dexterity is required.
