Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II (SQL & Data Validation) in Birmingham, AL.

Overview: Our client is seeking a Business/Data Analyst to support a critical data migration initiative as they transition their enterprise data lake environment to Snowflake. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented analyst with strong SQL skills and experience performing data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities during large-scale data transformation projects.

The selected consultant will work closely with the project team to compare source and target data structures, validate data accuracy, and ensure successful migration outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data validation and reconciliation activities during a data migration to Snowflake
• Compare existing data structures and datasets against newly created Snowflake tables
• Execute SQL queries to analyze, compare, and validate source-to-target data
• Identify, investigate, and document data discrepancies and anomalies
• Validate data quality, completeness, and accuracy throughout the migration process
• Partner with project stakeholders to resolve data issues and ensure successful delivery
• Document findings, validation results, and recommendations
• Participate in Agile team ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional project teams
