Job Title: Business Support Specialist
Location: Johnston, RI
Job Summary
The Business Support Specialist provides research and analytical support for lending account reviews. This role involves researching customer accounts, reviewing payment activity, performing data entry, and supporting reporting and analytics functions while following established SOPs and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct payment activity research to identify first delinquency dates
- Review loan accounts and credit lines, including payment and debit history
- Perform data entry and basic calculations (adding and subtracting)
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal processes
- Support reporting and analytics activities
- Communicate internally through email and Teams
- Provide feedback and ask questions as needed
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in processing repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective time management skills
- Strong written communication skills for internal business communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Office, and Teams
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
