Job Opportunity: Business Solutions Analyst at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company

Role and Responsibilities: The Group Administration Business Analyst implements and maintains systems, procedures, and workflow for the Group Administration department. The position works closely with other departments such as Programming and Corporate Actuarial to solve technical issues and improve service

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement solutions to enhance service and streamline processes.
  • Write queries to extract data from the REGIS Group Administration system for statistical and other reports.
  • Document, test, and approve files in Azure DevOps for defects detected in the Group Administration Department.
  • Coordinate with Application Programming to develop automation of procedures and implement system enhancements.
  • Provide technical assistance to home office personnel and service technicians with information and decisions on Group Administration functions.
  • Provide ongoing training related to technical functions of the REGIS system.
  • Compile and reconcile monthly financial reports.
  • Assist with detailed plan year and year-end reports of Farm Bureau groups for Accounting, Reinsurance and Corporate Actuarial departments.
  • Design and maintain the Group Administration Sharepoint site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience
  • Understanding of programming capabilities in order to support computer systems, required
  • Basic knowledge of company's administrative procedures, preferred
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, SharePoint, OnBase
  • General knowledge of SQL Server, query and database management, preferred
  • Good working knowledge of general insurance concepts, preferred
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong time-management skills
