Position Description
Position Overview:
The Business Services Manager - Interlocal Agreements (ILA) plays a critical role in the strategic planning, coordination, administration, and oversight of Interlocal Agreements between the organization and federal, state, county, municipal, and other governmental entities. Reporting directly to the Department Head, this position is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of ILAs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, County policies, procurement requirements, financial obligations, and organizational objectives.
This position serves as the primary liaison between internal departments, partner agencies, legal counsel, Finance, Purchasing, Budget, and external governmental entities to facilitate successful development, execution, administration, amendment, renewal, and closeout of Interlocal Agreements.

Physical Demands and Environmental Exposure:
Most assignments will be performed in an office, meeting, or operations command center environment, but some field work may be required. May be required to work extended work hours during activation of disaster recovery operations for an unspecified length of time (varies based on the extent of the event).
This position requires bending, stooping, and lifting to 25 lbs., frequent walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and ascending/descending stairs.
